bad witch!

Or perhaps I should say.. bad blogging witch!

My new assignment for the 2011-2012 work year has thrown me TOTALLY out of whack. HOLY CRAP! I have not left work before seven since work started back up three weeks ago. I go in at 7:30am and leave at 7pm! I am a gym go-er, and have only been once in the past three weeks. I have not seen my friends, family or husband pretty much at all... its been insane!! I am much happier in my placement at work this year,  but it has really thrown me for a loop! I think that I FINALLY have some of the kinks worked out, so now I should be back to my normal work schedule and life schedule...ie: making dinner for my hubby, going to the gym and spending time with my witchy blogs!!

In other news:

I came out of the broom closet to one of my friends! I felt SO liberated!! She was so understanding and even said she wanted to start researching as she might be interested in it! I told her Wicca/Paganism really helped me get through my rough times at work, and since she is an educator too, she thought it was definitely worth researching! :) I told while we were enjoying a margarita the other night.. I was so nervous and got the giggles while trying to tell her. She guessed what it was before I even got to the point and after it was all said and done.. I felt amazing!! I am so excited to be honest with at least one of my friends!

I got sick the very first week back to work  with a bad sinus infection.. urg! Just my luck! I kicked it with some meds from Care Now...

I am not pregnant again...

.. I got my period on Tuesday, but this means (hopefully) that I am back to a "regular" cycle! I had had totally whack-a-doodle cycles since going off of the pill three months ago, and now it seems back to regular, at 27 days! hallelujah! Hopefully we will have some luck this month!

I baked some homemade bread on Monday, in honor of the current season and to thank the Goddess for the fabulous early fall weather we have been experiencing here in Texas! IT IS A MIRACLE! We very rarely get any decent weather here... but it has been wonderful compared to our 100+ degree temperatures ! Monday was a holiday for hubby and I, so we spent this time working outdoors, and even putting out a few early fall decorations!

... So this is my update for now. I know I suck, and that my posts always aren't completely witchy related... but leave a comment or two. YOU KEEP ME GOING! You keep my witchy spirit alive!! I love you and your blogs! You make my evenings interesting, witchy and fun! Thank you for being there for me :)
