I am curled up in front of the fire, listening to the rain and enjoying the scent of freshly baked pumpkin bread in the oven.
I baked bread this evening to give to my coworkers to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday which is Wednesday through Friday. I am so thrilled, I may kill over from excitement. Our holiday tradition is to go stay at my parents house thanksgiving "eve" so that we can all eat breakfast together. We then visit hubby's side of the family for thanksgiving lunch and return to my parent's home for thanksgiving dinner. Good things pregnant girls like to eat a lot....actually I like to eat a lot regardless of my pregnant status... Anywho, it is a GRAND time! What are your thanksgiving traditions?
I am already in the holiday shopping mood, and am trying to think of gifts for my siblings and parents. I would really like to tie in a yule-theme, with my regular christmas gifts this year, but don't have many ideas. I am thinking of attaching some little homemade soy candles in red and green to the outside of the gift wrapping. Do you have any ideas?
Happy Thanksgiving if I don't hear from you!
