Dinner one:
I borrowed from a certain christian blogger who many witchy-bloggers have been talking about lately. I hopped over to her site to see what all the buzz was about and while I stopped by, I found a "chicken dumpling" recipe that is great for the wanna-be-kitchen-witch that I am! Hopefully I won't be shunned from the witchy community from borrowing her recipe!! haha
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
mozzarella cheese
can of jumbo crescent rolls
cream of chicken soup
one soup can of water
Cook chicken and shred. Use crescent rolls to individually wrap a small handful of chicken and small handful of cheese (my crescent rolls made eight "chicken dumplings"). Lay them in a glass cooking dish. Mix soup and can of water together, then pour on top of chicken dumplings. Salt and Pepper to taste. (I use garlic salt and lemon pepper). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until "golden brown". I cooked mine closer to forty minutes because I wanted my crescent rolls done verrrrrry well! I don't do soggy/mushy things!
Dinner Two:
Chicken Parmesan/Spaghetti I found online... but I'm not exactly sure where! :(
Chicken tenders/tenderloins
Italian Bread Crumbs
1/2 cup water
2 eggs
cooking oil
Small Can Hunts Fire Roasted tomato sauce
Regular Tomato Sauce
crushed red pepper
Fettuccine or Spaghetti noodles
mozzarella cheese
Mix water and two eggs in a bowl and place bread crumbs in a separate bowl. Dip each tenderloin into the egg mix and then into the bread crumbs. Place each tenderloin into pan with cooking oil. Cook for about 5 minutes one each side, until done. I cooked mine all at the same time in a large skillet. Boil noodles until finished. Strain noodles and add fire roasted tomato sauce, regular tomato sauce and a dash of crushed red pepper. When we were ready to eat I spooned pasta onto plate, topped with chicken and mozzarella cheese... I then gave it a zap in the microwave.... (YES!!! This kitchen witch uses the microwave!!) :)
And for the hair-do....
I bought a new product "wonder waves" by garnier fructis.... because this kitchen witch is on a budget!! Spray into damp hair and scrunch. Twist small pieces of hair into "pin curls" and let dry. When dry, take down hair an separate curls for wonnnnnnnderful waves!! :)
Have a fabulous Tuesday!
