1.) Beltane or May Day- my party last Friday was totally awesome! Our May day dance was great the first time go round' and even more hysterical the second time, after a few glasses of may day punch! Most of my friends didn't know the purpose of a may day dance, or the representation of the may day pole- until my brother informed them. Then everyone was afraid of getting pregnant and telling me i'd be keeping the kid or paying child support if the got knocked up! It was a fun filled evening, one I will never forget- it being my first Beltane celebration!!
2.) Winter has returned to Texas- its 45 degrees today on May 2nd- which is crazy for us! I may light a fire this evening...
3.) And the new shoes.... oh YES!! ...beautiful macrame Guess wedges, suitable for work or play. The very best kind. They are in style this season you know!! Especially in taupe... taupe is the IT color until this fall. mmmmm shoes!!
Dancing with the Stars comes on in about twenty minutes- so I must be off to enjoy... with a cocktail or two :)
