Today was an exciting day!! I went to the doctor and and got to hear our baby's heartbeat... 150 beats per minute! :) Wive's tales say that a heart beat over 140 is a girl and less than 140 is a boy. However, I am pretty sure it is going to be a boy!! Hubby thinks it will be a girl. We find out sometimes in March what it will be.
So as you see, my day started out great!! But as evening approached and grew dark, I started to get sad. Hubby is still at work, and my family is out of town for th new year. Perhaps it is my pregnancy hormones mixed with the winter blues, but one minute I am happy an giggly, and the next I am sad and lonely. I am not ready for my holiday break to end, but I think I will be happy to go back to work and for my routine to start up again.
Oh spring, where are you ? I am ready for later sunsets, tan legs, capri pants, gardening and snowcones :)
