i've lost my "zen"...

let me tell you a little bit about my "zen" so I can explain why i've lost it...

I really don't know if I use this word the correct way, but my "zen" is being calm and relaxed, in lots of different ways!!...

For example, my "zen" when I cant fall asleep at night, because I cant quiet my mind, is to rest my hand on my husband's arm. He's so peaceful and the opposite of my outgoing, spastic self that he calms me.

Lighting my goddess candle and cooking dinner, while watching nature out my front window calms me and is my evening "zen".

Meditating in front of my altar is my after work "zen".

Getting online and researching paganism, reading witchy books and reading witchy blogs is my after dinner "zen".

Having "zen" recharges me with the energy to be organized for a hectic life, to keep a clean, well kept home, perform my job well, and be a good wife and family member.

.... and I've lost it all! I can't be calm. I'm a complete mess.

And with this comes the fact that I feel i've lost my witchiness passion and I need something to get me jump started again. Celebrating Beltane will help, but that is two weeks away, so I was thinking... maybe now is the time to try a first "spell". Can anyone help me or give me suggestions? I will need something easy, positive and something that will put a pep in my step!! :)

thanks!

Brightest Blessings

Maybe you could make a charm or talisman to encourage bringing your zen with you, like carrying a mojo bag or charging some worry stones. Both of these are portable and can be brought with you on a fairly inconspicuous level.

I like Elizabeth's idea.

You might do a type of spell to release your worries to the world. Light a candle, write your worries down and send the energy to the world that is preventing you from grounding yourself (your "zen").

Good luck, Autumn!
