a kitchen witch's blessing

There are many things important in a domestic witch's life... keeping a clean home (physically and mentally), raising a happy and healthy family, providing for the family monetarily, and cooking!! Ever since I've moved into my new home, my cooking skills have someone gotten a lot better. Maybe the previous owner left me some kitchen witchery energies!! I've been wanting to pursue my kitchen witchery more and more and then I got this idea!-

I'm putting together a cookbook, of family traditional recipes and new recipes that i've come across in my adult life... I always cook with the intent of love for my husband and family and providing for them. I feel that my mom and grandmother did the same thing even though they were raised in christian households. The intent is still the same, mommies and wife's always put happy and loving energies/thoughts into their food! So I am taking time this summer to create my own kitchen witchery cookbook, mixed with family tradition. I wanted a special way to start off my book.. so I thought of creating a prayer or blessing to reread each time I reach for a recipe out of my cook book!

holds family tradition near;

Memories from long ago,

and new ones that wish to grow;

In my book I keep,

family love true and deep;

As I prepare from my collection,

I put my energies, love and affection;

Bless family and friends the same,

with the Lord and Lady's name...
