The nightmare that I'm referring to would be the 106 degree weather we are having here in Texas. I went grocery shopping today and had to take a shower after loading and unloading my car! That is so GROSS! Every year about this time, I start wanting to move... and it always to the east coast. I want to go somewhere that has a summer season, but turns to fall at the appropriate time. Because here is Texas, we will have 100 degree weather until septemeber and most likely into october as well.

In other news I visited the local farmer's market today. Although it was hot, being in the little store really energized me!! Seeing all the yummy fruits and vegetables of the season that the Goddess has provided to us put a smile on my face and butterflies in my stomach. I really and truely felt close to her as I strolled quietly in the air conditioned market, picking up an acorn squash, bing cherries, canteloupe, corn on the cob and blackberries for a blackberry pie! (I am feeling courageous in my quest to being a kitchen witch!). Everytime I visit the market I feel festive and connected to whatever season we are currently celebrating , and today as the I thought of the Goddess, I felt most happy.

That's awesome, Autumn. I got to go to the Dallas Farmer's Market for the first time and it was a blast. So many yummy things.
I totally know what you mean about the heat. It's so awful right now! J wants to move to Colorado... but there's too much snow there for me. ^_^
